Process / Industrial Engineer

Your Role
Key responsibilities :
- Manage manufacturing and / or production operations, including assembly, machinery, processing, or packaging.
- Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, material supply, staffing resources, and required volume to meet demand and maintain high standards of quality and quantity.
- Develop, design, and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with established international safety and design standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate employee productivity and recommend improvements to increase team efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control / reductions.
- Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- Establish accident prevention measures, and plan and schedule training programs for team members regarding all phases of production operation.
- Ensure year-to-year productivity gain : identify, foster, and manage the implementation of productivity projects at manufacturing sites.
- Lead automation and operating teams at sites for the development and implementation of standardized automation software and hardware, and implement optimized working procedures for non-automated areas.
Your Profile
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a similar engineering field.A relevant (4+ years) vocational or professional training and extensive subject-specific additional qualification (such as a technician).Equivalent knowledge and skills, such as those acquired through qualified training or alternative experiences, are also valued.The total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways.This role typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent work experience, including conceptual knowledge of fundamental theories, principles, and practices or equipment job experience.At Infineon, we are committed to building an inclusive and collaborative environment where differences are valued and all team members have the opportunity to thrive.Contact
