Your Role

Key responsibilities :

• Manage manufacturing and / or production operations, including assembly, machinery, processing, or packaging.
• Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, material supply, staffing resources, and required volume to meet demand and maintain high standards of quality and quantity.
• Develop, design, and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure compliance with established international safety and design standards and guidelines.
• Evaluate employee productivity and recommend improvements to increase team efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control / reductions.
• Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
• Establish accident prevention measures, and plan and schedule training programs for team members regarding all phases of production operation.
• Ensure year-to-year productivity gain : identify, foster, and manage the implementation of productivity projects at manufacturing sites.
• Lead automation and operating teams at sites for the development and implementation of standardized automation software and hardware, and implement optimized working procedures for non-automated areas.
