• Through our Events & Experiences programs, we bring journalism to life on stage, amplify local culture, and deepen community bonds.  KQED is seeking a creative and highly organized Experiences Producer to help bring immersive, place-making programs to life.
• This role is part of a team dedicated to designing and producing large-scale participatory event experiences — including food and culture festivals, marketplaces with local makers and vendors, site-based musical performances, and unexpected cultural activations that take KQED into the streets, parks, distinctive gathering spaces, and other iconic settings of the Bay Area.  This Producer will serve as a creative, operational, and logistical lead for delivering polished, high-impact programs that center local culture, grow KQED’s role as a convener and cultural connector, and root community in tangible experiences of the Bay Area.

This role will work hybrid between working in KQED's newly renovated headquarters and working remotely.  Key Responsibilities Bring Creative Ideas to Life :

Coordinate with KQED content and audience operations teams to schedule reporters, producers, social media coverage, audio engineers, video crews, and other personnel to support event execution and recording.  Manage Vendors and Contractors :
