Overview
We are currently looking to hire a Process Engineer for our client based in Dallas, Texas. The role will focus on the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of pressing and sintering processes within powder metallurgy, supporting large-scale manufacturing operations in a fast-growing, strategically important sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize pressing and sintering processes across powder metallurgy production.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
- Conduct data analysis on process performance, recommending improvements to increase yield and reduce cost.
- Lead process improvement initiatives including the adoption of new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Document and maintain best practice operating procedures and process parameters.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Materials / Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline, with 3–5 years' experience in powder production, pressing, sintering, or powder metallurgy processes. Strong knowledge of compaction and sintering technologies, tooling design, and process control methods (SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Candidates with 5+ years of industrial experience, hands-on knowledge of process safety in powder handling, and SAP exposure will be viewed favorably.Location and compensation
