An excellent engineering firm in the local area is seeking to add an MEP Design Engineer to provide detailed mechanical HVAC & plumbing engineering designs. Qualified individuals will be able to perform all technical functions associated with MEP design including load calculations, layout, sizing and system integration. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certified individuals seeking a company providing diverse interesting projects and room for growth are urged to apply.

Responsibilities :

• Develop system layouts, schematics, and detailed designs utilizing AutoCAD and Revit for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for HVAC & plumbing systems
• Perform detailed heating and cooling load calculations according to ASHRAE standards to accurately determine appropriate equipment required
• Collaborate closely with team members, leadership, clients, architects, and associated contractors, to integrate system designs into new and existing buildings
