Job Description
The purpose of this position is to apply a general understanding of design engineering principles as listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position supports the Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects and performs routine aspects of engineering assignments, applying basic engineering principles.

Must have at least one year of structural / civil engineering experience.
Intermediate knowledge of :
o Performing hand computer calculationsfor foundations, concrete, and steelstructures (structural)
o Wind and seismic loading in structural calculations (structural)
o Computer modeling and analysis (structural)
o Hydrologic analysis and hydraulic design, geotechnical engineering and investigations, boundary and topographical surveying (civil)
o Analyzing complex structure
o Dynamic analysis and design (structural)
o Blast design (structural)
o Procurement and construction aspects of engineering
o Vendor drawing review, intergroup review - squad checking
o Engineering and fabricator drawing checking
