Responsibilities
- Provides planning, reporting, and technical management of the project for the PLC Controls Engineering portion.
- Acts as the Project Lead Engineer or as an Engineering Team Member, handling multiple projects with little or no supervision.
- Lead automation projects for material handling clients. Develop and implement PLC code for the material handling equipment.
- Executes all test plans on-site, both internal and customer acceptance / BUAT / UAT / FAT.
- Assess programming and commissioning methods to ensure development of standard coding are met with Intelligrated standards.
- Works closely with other engineering functional teams and manages the scope, budget, and schedule.
- Demonstrates and recognizes project success from multiple levels of financial, technical, and timeline management responsibilities.
- Apply prescriptive methodology to project tasks.
- Execute project tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams.
- Prepare or update reports and documentation.
- Attends weekly team meetings; reviews scheduled tasks / timelines.
- Maintains internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
Experience and Skills
Experience in some of the following Tools and Software is of value
Logix 5000, Studio 5000, ZoneFlex Configurator, RSLinx, FactoryTalk View, B&R Automation Studio, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SST Profibus Configuration tool, Ignition, SOPAS, Datalogic DataMan, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff and Schneider, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, BOM Generation, schematic design, panel design.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics5-7+ years of Controls Engineering Experience in a similar roleAbility and willingness to travel up 60-70% of the timeProgrammable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming and Electrical Design in some of the following :Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff Programmable Logic ControllersCodesys and ladder logic programmingServos and motion control experienceVariable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and setupNetwork Protocols – Serial, Ethernet IP, ProfinetWarehouse control system software interface and protocolsHuman-machine Interface system design – Aveva Edge, Rockwell FTV studio, IgnitionScanner and Machine vision system interfaceWE VALUE
