Job Summary : Join a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a supportive environment. This role adapts daily to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.
- Coordinate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits, ensuring medical records are accurate and up-to-date. Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal symptoms to physicians, documenting all findings thoroughly.
- Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management. Facilitate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications. Assist with minor surgeries and ensure proper consent is obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations.
- Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Perform laboratory tests and maintain logs as prescribed, contributing to smooth clinical operations.
Education and Experience Required :
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.
Work Shift :
First shift, full-time (40 hours per week) in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
