Job Summary : Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting healthcare providers by managing patient care tasks and ensuring smooth clinical operations throughout the patient visit.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
- Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triage appropriately, and offer patients reassurance, clear instructions, and education.
- Ensure efficient healthcare delivery by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all patient interactions and billing information in electronic medical records.
- Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating necessary referrals and patient testing.
- Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Education and Experience Required :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, full-time.
