Job Summary :

Franklin Pierce University’s College of Health and Natural Sciences seeks an Administrative Assistant for its new hybrid Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program located in Goodyear, Arizona. The Administrative Assistant role is an integral part of the efficient and effective running of the program. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties, program events, and communications with faculty, staff, and students. Your experience and enthusiasm would enhance our team!

Experience and Qualifications :

The skills and abilities that you bring to this position should include the following :

• A minimum of 3 years of previous relevant administrative experience.
• Associate degree in a related area, Bachelor’s degree preferred; or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.
• Incumbent must possess excellent presentation and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software (specifically, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook), as well as the ability to stay current with emerging office technologies.
• Incumbent must possess strong customer service skills, organizational skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrate basic bookkeeping / accounting skills.
• Ability to work under typical office conditions in a professional setting.
• The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple responsibilities is an asset.
