Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Romeoville, IL
Pay : $42 per hour (local) or $1,500 weekly (travel)

Requirements :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Education for the Visually Impaired
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Visual Impairment endorsement
Knowledge of Braille and assistive technologies
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities :
Deliver individualized instruction to students with visual impairments
Adapt materials and curriculum to ensure accessibility
Collaborate with staff to implement IEPs and 504 Plans
Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments
Support students independence through orientation and mobility training
