Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available from August 13, 2025, to May 28, 2026, in a K-12 school located in Bellwood, IL. This opportunity is ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in elementary and middle school settings. Multiple classroom types are available, including Resource, Self-Contained, and other instructional settings.

Key responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with general education teachers and support staff, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitoring student progress to ensure academic and social growth.

Qualifications and experience :

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teacher Certificate
• Professional Educator License (PEL) issued by the state of Illinois
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
• Strong munication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage and adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners

Location : Bellwood, Illinois

The position offers a petitive hourly pay range of $35 to $45, mensurate with experience. Additional benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.
