Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs during the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
• Utilize appropriate assessment tools and techniques to evaluate student performance.
• Promote independence, social skills, and positive behavior in students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school policies and regulations.
