Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for Special Education Teachers to support diverse learners in K-8 educational settings. Multiple openings are available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year on a contract basis. Positions involve working with students primarily diagnosed with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Delays (DD), with an average caseload of 20 students.
Locations include two campuses serving grades K-4 and 5-8 in the Chicago area. The role focuses on providing both push-in and pull-out instructional supports, emphasizing reading fluency and comprehension as well as foundational math skills. Teachers will work collaboratively with general education staff to develop and implement individualized strategies that enhance student learning and engagement.
