Legal Secretary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Secretary to join a Bastrop-based law firm. This role will primarily provide administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations in the office. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and comfortable handling both client-facing and back-office tasks.

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
• Scan, file, and organize documents to maintain accurate office records.
• Greet clients and visitors, providing basic information or directing them to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with general office duties, including mail handling and scheduling.
• Support attorneys and staff with basic administrative needs as required.
• Previous experience in an office, legal, or administrative role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment (scanner, copier, phone system) and Microsoft Office tools.
