A leading law firm is looking for a
Litigation Legal Secretary
to support a dynamic litigation practice that spans commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and white-collar defense. Who You Are
A legal secretary with at least 10 years of experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced litigation-focused legal environment
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with a knack for juggling multiple priorities without missing a beat
Tech-savvy and confident using tools like Microsoft Office 365, iManage, Kofax, Best Authority, Aderant, and more
Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and working occasional early or late hours when needed
Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Notary Public commission within the first six months of employment
Professional demeanor, with a positive, can-do attitude
What You'll Do
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calls, messages, and scheduling
Draft, revise, and format legal documents in line with firm standards, including pleadings, correspondence, and filings
Handle electronic court filings in both state and federal systems with precision and timeliness
Prepare and update Tables of Authorities and Contents for legal briefs
Maintain accurate time entries, expense reports, and case file documentation
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, and ensure all materials are properly filed and organized
Step in to support other team members during absences or high-volume periods

Attorneys and clients consistently receive timely, polished, and accurate work
You stay ahead of deadlines and keep case files and documentation impeccably organized
You contribute to a positive, professional office culture and build strong working relationships across the firm
Salary Range :
$90,000 – 100,000 annually, based on experience
Location :
Newark, NJ – 5 days on site
