IT Engineer Level 3

As an IT Engineer Level 3, you will be responsible for the design, integration, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical IT systems. Your work will span the full system lifecycle-from architectural planning and implementation to troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and review system architecture, design documentation, and use cases
- Lead major components of IT engineering projects and support full lifecycle execution
- Recommend and implement new technologies and processes to improve system performance
- Troubleshoot hardware / software issues and provide scalable solutions
- Coordinate system installations and support build documentation for administrators
- Identify and translate operational requirements into technical design
- Manage and optimize technology to ensure availability, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with engineers, administrators, and leadership to address technical challenges
- Present technical briefs and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Support IT security through the development of monitoring and mitigation procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining IT systems in secure environmentsAbility to lead and manage medium to large-scale technical projectsExperience resolving complex IT problems across multiple technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and executive audiencesFamiliarity with performance tuning, system monitoring, and capacity planningAbility to translate user needs into system requirements and solutionsExperience in recommending cost-effective, secure, and scalable system designsEducation and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and 12 years of relevant IT engineering experience, orMaster's degree in a related discipline and 10 years of experience, orNo degree with an additional 4 years of experience, totaling 16 years of IT engineering experienceCertifications :
IAT Level II certification required (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)Clearance Requirement :
