The Merchandise Distribution Coordinator for Sporting Kansas City is responsible for efficiently receiving and processing all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining an organized warehouse, accurately inventorying all merchandise, limiting inventory loss, and other functions to support the Retail team. This position has great potential for internal growth within the Retail team. The position is to be a key contributor to the team while ensuring all work is consistent with the Sporting KC brand purpose : "We create memories through personalized experiences with our Club."

Essential Functions

• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse space, including labeling and organizing all product for efficient work flows
• Receive all shipments for Sporting Kansas City's Retail Team, while maintaining an ongoing receiving log
• Create, pull, and distribute all replenishment transfers for all SportingStyle locations prior to each event
• Maintain accurate inventory data and prevent inventory loss by performing data entry for receiving shipments, completing accurate, physical inventory counts, and protecting the integrity of inventory by securing the warehouse space.
• Set up and maintain retail spaces by physically moving fixtures and organizing in adherence with company standards for all events
• Operate the heat press used to embellish jerseys with names, numbers, and other applicable logos
• Oversee all outgoing shipments for the Retail Team
• Enter UPC information, as well as print and apply barcodes when required
• Assist the Retail Sales Coordinator with co-managing part-time warehouse staff
• Enter sales data from Amazon's Just Walk Out Store into RetailCloud
• Execute all operational processes effectively and provide operational support to the Retail Team.
• Collaborate with associates on the Retail Team to reduce costs and create process improvements.
• Provide support to the website by providing customer service, setting up images and completing any other applicable tasks.
• Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with the Sporting Kansas City culture.
• Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.
• Responsible for picking and packing merchandise orders.
• Attend all Sporting Kansas City home games, as well as non-soccer related events.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
