Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to process and review invoices ensuring their accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate will match invoices to purchase orders, verify the receipt of goods and services, and enter and code invoices into our accounting system. Additionally, you will prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, reconcile accounts payable transactions, and resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and verify receipt of goods / services.
• Enter and code invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and procedures.

You will start onsite due to the manual nature of our current accounts payable process. We are currently utilizing ERP to manage our operations. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
