Our client, a well-established company in Kern County, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This leadership role will ensure accuracy in financial transactions, maintain strong internal controls, and support the organization's overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Oversee reconciliations, month-end and year-end close processes

Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and payment runs

Implement and maintain internal controls and best practices

Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and process improvements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in management

Strong background in AP and AR oversight
