Overview
Specialist - Talent Development, Sr. (#3534) at Tallgrass. The Senior Talent Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful training and leadership development programs that build organizational capability and drive performance. This role applies the ADDIE model to manage multiple training initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a skilled facilitator who can lead in-person and virtual workshops, with a strong emphasis on leadership development. This position also supports LMS administration, SOP development, stakeholder engagement, performance metrics reporting, and program coordination across the enterprise.
The role requires collaboration with HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts to deliver scalable learning solutions and measure impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Design & Development (ADDIE) : Conduct needs assessments, analyze performance gaps, and design, develop, and implement learning solutions. Create facilitator guides, participant materials, eLearning modules, and blended learning solutions.
- Facilitation & Delivery : Lead engaging in-person and virtual workshops, delivering leadership development content, team-building sessions, and core skills training across levels.
- Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement : Manage multiple training projects concurrently, meet timelines and deliverables; partner with HR, business leaders, and SMEs to align programs with priorities; act as liaison between stakeholders for clear communication.
- Mentoring & Coaching : Guide and support junior team members to foster professional growth and prepare for future leadership roles.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting : Monitor training participation and effectiveness; analyze feedback and learning data to recommend improvements and demonstrate ROI.
- LMS & SOP Support : Administer LMS, generate reports, and maintain SOPs for consistency and scalability of learning processes.
- Leadership Development Focus : Design and deliver leadership development programs; provide coaching, feedback, and facilitation to strengthen leadership skills and organizational capability.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, business administration, organizational development, or related field preferred.
Experience
5+ years in training, talent development, or instructional design.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.Strong project management abilities with a track record of managing concurrent initiatives and meeting deadlines.Facilitation and presentation skills with experience leading leadership development sessions.Proficiency with LMS administration and training program reporting.MS Office, LMS software, and content development tools; strong instructional design capabilities.Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.Competencies
