We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Redmond, Washington. This role is a Contract-to-continuous position and offers the opportunity to manage payroll processes for a large workforce while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities :
- Process payroll three times per month for approximately 800 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the complete payroll cycle, including post-payroll funding and reconciliation.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including reporting and compliance tasks.
- Handle day-to-day payroll operations, which involve manual processes and detailed attention to data accuracy.
- Utilize Excel for advanced data management, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and processes.
- Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related questions and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline payroll operations.
- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, including multi-state payroll.
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform VLOOKUPs, create pivot tables, and use formulas effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in payroll processing.
- Ability to handle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to asking questions and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance regulations and year-end reporting requirements.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and address employee inquiries.
