About You and This Role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS) Coordinator in Knoxville, TN.

In this role, you will support the business in maintaining the Operating Discipline Management System as well as with owning the Document Management System for the Knoxville site. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities that support Knoxville operations.

Responsibilities

• Leads overall ODMS "maintain" efforts for the business in the department.
• Acts as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system.
• Supports all element owners in the department.
• Drives the Plan DO Check Act cycle of continuous improvement.
• Works with Business / Department Leadership to identify organization level opportunities, as well as support administratively.
• Coordinates and facilitates the Management System Reviews, Self-Assessment Review Process and Compliance Plan Review Process.
• Plans, implements and maintains electronic DMS file share and hardcopy libraries.
• Determines and administers plant file share securities using FSM.
• Maintain documentation within WebEDMS, sets review dates and document ownership (electronic document management system).
• Able to develop and lead training, as well as learn quickly and be able to teach others.
• Comfortable working with computers and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Demonstrates excellent decision-making skills, ability to prioritize appropriately.
• Able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and have strong reading comprehension and listening skills.
• Able to communicate with a very diverse population which is spread across the site.
• Strong organization skills and must be able to prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities.
• Able to plan, organize, and monitor multiple concurrent projects to meet established goals.
• Able to work within an empowered team environment.
• Have a high regard for personal safety and the safety of others.
