This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our team of experienced attorneys and paralegals, providing critical support in a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting pleadings, e-filing, litigation support, legal writing, and legal administration.

Responsibilities :

As a Legal Assistant, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that are integral to the smooth operation of our firm. These include :

1. Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings.

2. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and filing them with the court.

3. Performing administrative duties such as filing papers, answering telephone calls, and maintaining and organizing files.

4. Managing case files to ensure information is kept organized and accessible.

5. Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information to assist attorneys.

6. Coordinating and scheduling court dates and meetings.

7. Providing litigation support which includes preparing legal documents.

8. Assisting with e-filing in federal and state courts.

9. Preparing and sending legal correspondence.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.

2. Proficiency in drafting pleadings, e-filing, litigation support, legal writing, and legal administration.

3. Strong knowledge of legal research techniques and databases.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Exceptional interpersonal skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.

6. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining strict attention to detail.

8. A paralegal certificate or a degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
