Valve Sales Inc. is seeking a UL Shop Technician to join our team in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will be responsible for building, testing, and calibrating custom valve and actuator assemblies from start to finish. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential, as you will be expected to identify and resolve issues throughout the assembly process to ensure quality and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Build, test and calibrate custom valve and actuator assemblies from start to finish
- Identify and remanufacture select valve parts. Reject parts / ask for parts to be reworked if they do not meet tolerance specifications
- Troubleshoot throughout the assembly, testing and calibrating process.
- Must be able to work from specifications and drawings
- Utilize instruction manuals for detailed assembly instructions.
- Can generally work independently, but may require guidance on more complex assemblies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1 - 2 years Assembly experience (Valve Assembly preferred)High School degree and applicable experience is acceptable2-year Technical Degree preferredVery mechanically inclined, especially spatiallyAble to read and interpret technical literature and drawingsRequirements
