Salary and travel

Salary Range : Base Compensation $70,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience plus commissions. Typical on-target earnings ranging $140,000-$160,000 annually. This position requires travel 55-60% to engage directly with clients and partners outside the home office. Hours will vary on travel days based on need.

To assist in minimizing travel, the company is hoping to hire candidates located in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, and Texas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell SaaS products to automotive dealerships to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to penetrate the market and increase market share.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends; identify and target new opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline at least 3x of annual quota target.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and engage with clients via telephone, email, social media, video calls, and in-person visits; qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through onsite visits and industry events; promote products and services.
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Stay current with product knowledge and industry developments.
  • Present technical information virtually and in-person as needed to show product features and benefits.
  • Meet and / or exceed goals and required activities; negotiate terms with clients to maintain win-win relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management in Hubspot.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

    Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in business or related field preferred; and 4 years full cycle sales experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities :
  • 3-5 years of full cycle sales experience in automotive software sales
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for in-person, phone, and written communication
  • Strong listening skills to understand customer problems and articulate how products address them
  • Strong negotiating skills and ability to close deals
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
  • Ability to meet attendance expectations and tight deadlines
  • Experience with CRM tools required
  • Willingness to travel 55-60% of the time
  • Proven professional integrity and effectiveness; ability to work remotely
  • Preference to be located in Central Standard Timezone
  • Documented success (e.g., President's Award) preferred
  • Experience with Mac and Google Suite (including Google Sheets) preferred
