Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Procurement Specialist for our food manufacturing client to start immediately at $60k / annually+ DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities :
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials and supplies necessary for daily production and facility operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, vendor management skills, and the ability to balance cost-effectiveness with quality and timely delivery.
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, parts, and services to support production and facility operations
- Evaluate supplier performance, quality, and reliability to maintain strong vendor relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock
- Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options
- Communicate with vendors regarding lead times, order confirmations, and shipment tracking
- Maintain accurate procurement and pricing records in ERP or purchasing systems
- Support audits and compliance efforts related to purchasing activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, production, and accounting to resolve discrepancies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to the supply chain and purchasing processes
Location : Whitestown, IN
Schedule / Shift Details : Monday – Friday, 7 : 30 am – 4 : 00 pm
Qualifications : Required :
High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (preferably in a manufacturing environment)Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience using ERP or purchasing software systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred / Nice to Have :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldKnowledge of manufacturing materials, equipment, or MRO purchasingExperience with cost analysis, vendor audits, or contract managementUnderstanding of inventory control and just-in-time purchasing principlesBenefits :
