Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Leesburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves responding to situations promptly, providing exceptional customer service to staff and visitors, and maintaining open communication throughout your shift. This position requires you to be both armed and a driver, making use of your skills to help maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 05 : 50 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 05 : 50 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 05 : 50 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.
  • Interact with visitors, patients, and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required during incidents or emergencies at the location.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and protocols, adapting to the unique challenges of the healthcare setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
