Overview
Real estate law firm is currently hiring an experienced Office Manager. The position is full time Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 a.m. until 5 : 30 p.m. This is a permanent role within the company that provides benefits after the successful completion of a 90 day probationary period.
The law firm is focused on all aspects of real estate matters including litigation, contracts, title & escrow transactions and more. This is a professional law firm that is seeking a mature individual with management experience. Applicants must be willing to back up all administrative roles within the company including receptionist, file clerk, and administrative assistant.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a small support staff; receptionist, clerks, and processors.
- Oversee human resources, accounting / bookkeeping and some compliance.
- Write and post new job descriptions; screen applicants; schedule interviews; verify potential employee credentials.
- Set up employees on benefits; manage FMLA guidelines; answer employee questions regarding benefits; negotiate pricing with carriers annually; update employee handbooks as needed.
- Order office supplies; track expense reports; negotiate with vendors.
- Manage documents, contracts and communication with vendors, associates and business partners.
- Perform basic bookkeeping and payroll (Payroll system is through ADP); handle accounts receivable and payable; submit quarterly reports to CPA.
- Assist with workflow process.
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of HR terminology.Understanding of FMLA guidelines.Accounting skills : Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations.2+ years of office management experience.Experience processing payroll.Degree in Accounting and Finance is strongly encouraged to apply.J-18808-Ljbffr
