Warehouse Clerk
The Warehouse Clerk will work under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager and perform duties related to service operations (dispatch, fleet, receiving, shipping, storage, inventory control, etc.).
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Daily audit and filing of truck inspections to ensure they are filled out timely and accurately. Report any concerns related to safety, damage, etc. to management immediately.
- Conduct / assist in last minute minor repairs (change windshield wipers, change headlights or and operating lights that are not on the box of the vehicle)
- Assist with scheduling and organizing of fleet maintenance and repairs as well as tracking this information in Geotab
- Create and send out truck delay report, truck trip report (travel time, stops, etc.) flagging any major discrepancies with routes
- Ensure all truck binders are up to date
- Update and maintain fleet info on share point (registration, etc...)
- Responsible for moving crew supplies (tracking issuance, maintaining safety stock, organizing, distributing, ordering)
- Develop and maintain list of non-inventory supplies and conduct weekly cycle count
- Assist manager with coordinating truck repairs and routine maintenance
- Assist Receiving department with entering, tagging and assembling incoming items into file maker as needed
Education :
High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experienceSkills and Experience :
Must have over 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, including dispatch, fleet, inventory management, and warehousing operations.Experience using spreadsheets, email, etc. (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fast learner of business operations.Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and multitasking abilities are needed to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Maintaining communication with the field team, customers, and management team.
