Client projects for this position requires US Citizenship. OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is looking for an Instrumentation and Controls System Engineer for our Oak Ridge, TN project office. This position supports Nuclear Services and Technology (NST) projects related to Department of Energy (DOE) work. Other projects may include industrial power generation. This is a direct position with Merrick & Company.
Annual salary range for this position is $83,600.00 - $108,200.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
This engineering position will include the following key responsibilities :
- Develop control system design documents and drawings under minimal supervision of senior engineers.
- Being primary interface with project management and other engineering disciplines in matters dealing with project control systems.
- Assist in developing the basis of design and scope of work documents.
- Develop equipment specifications for controls equipment, operations manuals, and test reports.
- Develop control system narratives, logic drawings, programming reports and I / O lists.
- Ensure that control systems adhere to relevant industry standards and all project safety requirements / regulations.
- Ensure technical accuracy and conformance to project design criteria of engineered work products.
