Human Resources Generalist
LaSalle Network is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for a leading food service and manufacturing organization based in the western suburbs of Chicago. This contract-to-hire opportunity plays a key role in employee safety, compliance, and engagement across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in workplace investigations, and ready to partner with leaders to foster a strong, safety-focused culture.
Human Resource Generalist Responsibilities :
- Lead and support investigations related to safety, conduct, and compliance matters
- Partner with operations leaders to develop and implement safety policies and SOPs
- Conduct safety training sessions, site audits, and field visits as needed
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with HR leadership on risk management and continuous improvement
- Utilize ADP for HR data management and reporting
Human Resource Generalist Requirements :
5-7 years of progressive HR experienceExperience in manufacturing or GMP environments required; food industry preferredStrong understanding of OSHA compliance and risk management programsProven ability to manage investigations and develop safety documentationExcellent communication and cross-functional partnership skillsWhat's in it for me?
