Environmental & Maintenance Supervisor
The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for supervising all maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members. The primary working location will be Ecumen Prairie Lodge in Brooklyn Center, MN. This position will also work at Ecumen's Home Office in Shoreview, MN and Lilac Parkway in Robbinsdale, MN, on a regular basis. Ecumen Prairie Lodge consists of 45 assisted living suites, as well as 15 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services and is in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Lilac Parkway consists of 48 independent living rental apartment homes and is located in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
Opportunity Details :
- Schedule : Full-Time Shift : 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm (this can be flexible)
- Position works Monday through Friday
- Leader on duty weekend rotation approximately every 8-10 weeks
- Paid holidays off
- 40 hours / week
- Pay : The targeted pay range for this job is $27 to $35 per hour. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
Hires, trains and supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff to meet regulations and established departmental standards.Develops and maintains external vendor relationships for all maintenance, custodial, grounds, housekeeping services and for monitoring all nonmedical contractors hired to perform services on the premises.Prepares and manages annual departmental budget.Ensures community property complies with all appropriate regulations including local, state, and federal laws.Develops and maintains facility maintenance and / or programs.Performs regular preventative maintenance and repairs as required throughout property.Coordinates and trains all team members in building safety procedures, including in-services on the premises.Manages inventory control for all supplies used within department and orders supplies as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Driving Requirements : Local Travel and Driver's License Required
Minimum Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GEDPrevious maintenance experienceMinnesota Special Engineer Boiler License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hireValid Drivers License, proof of insurance and satisfactory motor vehicle recordAbility to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formatsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to : Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations.Preferred Qualifications :
