Job Summary :
As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will be a vital caregiver for residents in long-term care. Your responsibilities will include delivering resident-centered nursing care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a supportive environment under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will be accountable for following infection control policies and delivering age-appropriate care based on established care plans.
Your Key Responsibilities Include :
Assisting residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.Obtaining and recording vital signs while providing support for emotional and psychological needs.Helping with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using appropriate techniques and equipment.Engaging residents during meal times and assisting with food preparation to ensure a positive dining experience.Documenting care interactions and communicating any changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.Supporting housekeeping and laundry services to maintain clean and operational living spaces.Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities for residents.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum age of 16 required.Previous clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.Must have a required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing or be enrolled in a training program.Annual completion of continuing education credits and department-specific competency testing.We are committed to fostering a diverse work environment.
