As an Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with our engineers and professional staff. The role will handle all administrative and clerical tasks, including managing calendars, sorting mail, and providing general assistance. The admin assistant may also be responsible for event planning and meeting setup and implementation.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings / conference calls while demonstrating problem-solving abilities to adjust or prioritize schedules based on last-minute changes
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal employees, gaining recognition as a team resource
- Use appropriate judgment and knowledge when sharing sensitive information
- Perform clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, scanning, and filing
- Interface with all levels of the organization and with external customers in a professional and effective manner
- Plan events for an office of 20+ employees (holiday parties, lunches, etc.)
- Purchase supplies for the office, including breakroom supplies
- Do light cleaning in conference rooms and breakroom
- Perform other administrative support and special projects as assigned
- Pick up and deliver plans or other documents to local agencies
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, travel arrangements, and correspondence
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies :
