POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible and accountable to the Vice President of Facilities Development and Project Management for the project coordination required to manage various capital projects associated with the implementation of the University Health Capital Improvement Program (CIP).Provides project coordination relative to healthcare, facilities projects, project schedules, and budgets.Responsible for CIP project coordination with contractors, consultant / vendors and hospital / medical staff.Works to ensure contract compliance, coordination of contract processes, tracking & processing contract amendments and change orders, tracking vendor payments, and SMWVBE participation goals are achieved.Helps ensure that capital project management processes and reporting enables University Health to complete the CIP and other projects on time and within budget.Effectively protects University Health'sinterests in capital projects, and works collaboratively with legal services, contracting, supplier diversity, and budget and finance staff, ensures appropriate fiscal controls for capital projects for presentation to senior leadership of University Health.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree required.A minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a project coordinator or supervisor is required.
