Responsibilities :

Lead capital project management delivery for new equipment and facilities including project scope development & profiling, business case evaluation, project cost estimate, design development, equipment purchasing, installation, qualification, and validation activities within an established time, schedule & budget.

Project Management :

• Lead and manage manufacturing capital projects consisting of both Lilly and Non-Lilly professionals to safely achieve project objectives from conceptual design through operational verification (cradle to grave cycle). Project objectives are defined as : safety, asset capability or capacity, budget, schedule, and quality and risk management.
• Drive project design, permitting process, construction & commissioning strategy.
• Facilitate integration of operational and project strategies to ensure an effective and timely project delivery without impacting the operations.
• Evaluation with the work team of the project scope before requesting the necessary budget.
• Liaison between the site process teams, site engineering and construction teams.
• Monitor construction schedule and provide feedback to ensure project is completed on schedule and on budget. Escalate issues and provide recommendations to bring project back on track.
• Track project construction throughout mechanical completion and start up.
• Lead efforts related to commissioning & qualification strategy, equipment verification / qualification execution & documentation.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$51,000 - $115,500

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
