A top client in media industry is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics to join our dynamic team on a long term contract basis. This is an individual contributor opportunity.
This position requires an onsite presence 3 days per week in New York City.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage advanced analytics projects from concept to execution, delivering innovative solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency
Drive advanced analytics initiatives that accelerate subscriber and revenue growth
Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to design and evaluate A / B and multivariate experiments, providing robust statistical analysis and insights
Oversee high-impact projects involving experimental design, predictive modeling, and machine learning solutions
Guide the development and implementation of best-in-class machine learning and statistical models to support key business initiatives
Translate complex quantitative analyses into clear, actionable insights through compelling data storytelling and visualization
Collaborate with data scientists, big data engineers, and business stakeholders
Engage with senior business stakeholders to shape strategy, define success metrics, and influence data-driven decision-making across the organization
Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, articulating the business impact of analytical initiatives
Foster strong partnerships with data science, engineering, and business teams to advance analytics maturity and innovation
Qualifications :
5+ years of progressive experience in Data Analytics, Experimental Design, and Statistical Modeling
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with Tableau, Databricks, AWS Redshift, and other data visualization and big data platforms
Experience with modern ML techniques : Causal ML (Meta Learners, forecasting), Neural networks, transformers, Sequential modeling (e.g., LSTM, transformers), Recommendation engines, advanced models beyond basic propensity scoring
Demonstrated expertise in statistical testing, randomized experiments, and predictive modeling algorithms
Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
