We’re looking for a Director, Supply Chain Planning to lead and elevate our global finished goods planning and procurement operations. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic oversight with active execution—driving inventory health, supplier performance, and planning accuracy across a global network.
You’ll oversee a team managing a few dozen suppliers (80% international / 20% domestic), optimize ERP workflows in SAP , and play a key role in launching a new MRP system (SAP IBP or equivalent) in collaboration with IT and Operations. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, operational depth, and the ability to roll up their sleeves to deliver measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a global planning and procurement function covering a few dozen suppliers across multiple regions.
- Manage and mentor a small, capable team including a Director and two Purchasing Clerks.
- Drive the implementation of a new MRP system, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a successful rollout.
- Enhance ERP and planning processes within SAP and Salesforce , ensuring accurate data and efficient execution.
- Build and refine demand and supply planning frameworks that support accurate forecasting and operational alignment.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure supply strategies meet business goals.
- Monitor and act on key metrics—inventory turns, supplier performance, and service levels—to improve planning outcomes.
- Strengthen global supplier relationships through proactive communication, accountability, and performance management.
What You Bring
8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, or procurement leadership.Strong track record implementing or managing ERP / MRP systems; SAP experience highly valued.Experience leading integrated planning and cross-functional alignment processes.Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.Proven ability to lead both strategically and tactically—comfortable moving between planning discussions and execution.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; APICS certification preferred.Location & Compensation
Base Salary : $180,000 – $225,000Bonus : Up to 25% annual performance bonusLocation : Jacksonville, FL strongly preferred. Remote candidates welcome if located within a one-hop flight (Orlando, Miami, Charlotte, or Atlanta).Why This Role Matters
