The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts payable process for their assigned property(s). This position fully understands and enforces standard operating procedures relating to accounts payables and purchase orders. The Accounts Payable Specialist supports the Accounts Payable Manager within areas of invoice processing, purchase orders, and additionally assigned tasks and / or projects.

Job duties include; although are not limited to :

• 65% Process and code invoices ensuring proper department / account coding to route invoices for approval in BirchStreet. Reconcile purchase order to invoice exceptions. Process weekly payment runs (check, virtual master card, EFT). Complete weekly reports to send to property finance and purchasing teams.
• 20% Respond promptly to vendor & property phone calls and emails. Processing rush requests and acting with a sense of urgency for time sensitive items.
• 15% Perform vendor statement reconciliation, requesting voids and stop payments. Performing analysis of key metric information and holding monthly metric calls with the property on the findings.

The pay scale for the AP Specialist is from $22.00 / hour - $26.00 / hour. The pay scale is the base hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
