Your Responsibilities as an Operations Manager
Overall Operations : Direct daily operations of landscaping and snow crews, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and with high quality.Crew Leadership & Development : Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations; foster a positive company culture and ensure safety training is followed.Customer Service & Growth : Build strong customer relationships, resolve service concerns, and identify opportunities for upsells or additional services.Business Support : Support the General Manager with marketing efforts and step into leadership when the GM is unavailable.Snow & Ice Management :Coordinate manpower and equipment deployment during snow events.
Oversee safe and effective use of plows, skid steers, loaders, spreaders, and deicing materials.
Step into the field when necessary to lead crews and ensure routes are completed on time.
Plan for emergency response and long shifts during peak storm events.
Administrative & Reporting : Track job hours, gross margins, crew productivity, and payroll reporting; maintain a neat and supplied shop / office facility.How We Measure Success

Proactive leader with strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.Knowledge of landscaping equipment and snow removal equipment (mowers, plows, skid steers, loaders, spreaders, etc.).Ability to work extended shifts during snow events (Nov–Apr availability required).Willingness to obtain certifications and licenses within 6 months if required.Clean driving history with experience pulling trailers.Benefits & Pay
