Location : Roscoe, IL | Pay : $20–$30 per hour

What You'll Do :

As a CNC Lathe Machinist , you’ll set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts that meet precise specifications. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will ensure quality and productivity in our advanced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to fabricate precision parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications
  • Load / unload parts, change tooling, and make offset adjustments
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve machining issues
  • Maintain and improve productivity, reduce setup time
  • Adhere to ISO and Schafer Industries’ quality and safety procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and order through the 6S program

What You Bring :

  • 2+ years of CNC lathe machining experience preferred
  • Experience with HAAS machines (VF2, VF4, VF6, VF10) strongly preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Basic computer skills and effective communication in English
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform routine manufacturing tasks
