The IT Support Technician will provide technical assistance on computer systems in a quick and friendly manner. The Technician will respond to queries on basic technical issues, offer resolutions, provide remote and hands-on troubleshooting, and advise on appropriate actions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for our retail stores and corporate employees who are seeking technical assistance via the phone, help desk interface, or in person.
• Opening and closing support tickets
• Perform remote troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical hardware and / or software issues.
• Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
• Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support
• Imaging and configuring new laptops, desktops, point-of-sale systems, and mobile devices.
• Monthly rotating after-hour support.
• Provide accurate information on IT products and services.
• Document events, problems, and their resolution
• Follow-up and update user status and information
• Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve.
• Some travel
