Job Description

Pool Food Manager from the Company Troy Country Club , located in the city Troy, OH , United States. This opening is suitable for job seekers with a Bachelor Degree . The role is within the Restaurant field.

Responsibilities

  • Swimming Pool Food Manager — Reports to : GM, AGM, Food & Beverage Manager, Event Director, Bar Manager. Supervises : Snack Shack Employees.
  • Oversees the pool snack shack operation and related facilities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and appealing service for members.
  • Manage food, menus, and timely service, including ticketing, order monitoring, and staff walkthroughs to take orders every 10 minutes.
  • Work with the kitchen to present the best food possible and coordinate with cash / credit card sales.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of pool area, lockers, changing rooms, and bathrooms.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • High School Education
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ServSafe Certified - Level 1 or 2
  • Maintains all proper certifications and training for self and pool staff
  • Private club experience preferred

    • Job Knowledge and Expectations

  • Broad knowledge of food safety / regulation
  • Must complete monthly inventory
  • Manage 1-5 staff members per shift
  • Must be able to work with cash & credit card sales

    • Additional Duties

  • Trains, supervises, and evaluates staff
  • Signs in and charges for pool fees
  • Enforces club safety and conduct rules
  • Assists in rendering First Aid with lifeguards upon request
  • Represents the club in activities as required
  • Assists in pool opening and closing at the beginning and end of season
  • Manages pool area lost and found
  • Manages pool area, including lockers and changing rooms
  • Oversees pool snack bar and presence during special pool events
  • Works with kitchen to ensure efficient service and times out tickets for fast delivery
  • Knowledge of drinks for members to enjoy
  • Can train staff on Jonas PSO system
  • Supervises safe, clean, well-maintained facilities

  • Must have ServSafe Certification

    • Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Working conditions are hot, humid, slippery and wet
  • Busy, noisy environment
  • Exposure to chlorine and cleaning agents
  • Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling
  • Frequent repetitive motions; continuous standing and walking
