Milwaukee Valve Company is looking for a 2nd Shift Electrical Mechanical Technician 1 to join our Prairie Du Sac, WI team in Department 270. This position has a starting hourly wage of $25.35 plus a 4.5% shift premium.
All offers of employment by Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC. are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, blood test, physical capabilities test, and background check, all with acceptable results. Applicants are responsible scheduling and completing the required drug screen, blood test, and physical capabilities test within 7 calendar days of offer acceptance.
The regularly scheduled hours for this position are 2 : 30PM to 10 : 30PM Overtime may become a possibility or even required. When working overtime, the regularly scheduled shift is adjusted by 1-2 hours at either the beginning or end of the regularly scheduled shift. Overtime may also be requested or mandatory on Saturday as well. Note the training period hours are : 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM for the first 3 months.

Bronze Foundry Tour
Summary - Troubleshoot and repair all types of foundry and shop machinery and equipment
both Electrical & Mechanical. Perform preventive maintenance work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the
following :
repairs; maintain foundry and shop machinery, heating systems, foundry furnaces,
compressors, electrical, plumbing, etc. with some help of qualified maintenance
personnel.
deal with various repairs.
welders, torches, and other types of various maintenance shop machinery with some
assistance of qualified maintenance personnel.
assistance of qualified maintenance personnel.
supervisor.
machinery in the plant and in the maintenance department.
orderly condition on a daily basic.

Education and / or Experience - One year certificate from college or technical school; or 6 to 12
months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.

groups of supervisors or employees of organizations.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
