HR Coordinator Onsite Minnetonka
Due to our growth, we have an exciting opportunity in our Human Resources Department for a Human Resources Coordinator. This is a full-time, onsite position located at our Minnetonka headquarters.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the HR Coordinator supports daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including being the first point of contact for general HR questions. This position will also be responsible for processing team member changes, daily administrative needs, onboarding exempt leader roles for all communities, processing background checks, and providing support to other members of the HR team. Successful individuals will have a willingness to learn, the ability to wear many hats, and be a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for general human resources questions, triage complex questions as needed to the appropriate HR team member
- Responds promptly to employee questions and concerns
- Processes employee status changes in human resources information system (HRIS)
- Maintains human resources information system records
- Completes employment verifications including, but not limited to, WOTC and unemployment claims
- Provides talent acquisition support :
Maintains job opportunities templates and approves new job postings according to established guidelines
Refreshes job postings as neededRuns background checks and references checks for assigned rolesPosts jobs on niche job boardsCompletes onboarding tasks for assigned rolesInterpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulationsPerforms daily routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programsProvides HRIS guidance, administration, and troubleshooting to employees and supervisorsServes as backup to payroll as needed; provides ongoing general payroll supportRuns and distributes reports using Microsoft Excel and the HRIS Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG)Maintains knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesMaintains compliance with federal, state employment laws and regulations and company policies and proceduresAssists with HR tasks related to mergers and acquisitionsPerforms other duties as required or assignedSkills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related fieldPrevious experience Human Resources preferredExperience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) a plusAbility to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely mannerExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work as a team playerDetail-oriented and accurateProficient with technology and MS Office suiteSalary : $48,000 - $58,000 depending upon experience
