Overview
The Senior Systems Administrator will administrate the church's IT systems and software operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems for staff and ministry functions. This role combines hands-on systems administration with helpdesk leadership, software evaluation, and project management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a heart for service.

Responsibilities
Systems Administration
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune.Administer endpoint management using Mosyle (Apple MDM) and Intune (Windows).Monitor system performance, backups, and security protocols.Assist with network infrastructure, firewalls, database, and VPNs.Help Desk Escalation Point
Mentor helpdesk staff, ensuring timely and effective support.Develop and enforce helpdesk procedures and escalation protocols for systems and software.Track and report on support metrics and user satisfaction.Software & Technology Strategy
Evaluate and recommend software solutions for ministry and operational needs.Collaborate with departments to align technology with organizational goals.Manage software licensing, renewals, and vendor relationships.Project Management
Lead IT projects from planning to execution (e.g., system upgrades, migrations).Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate timelines and deliverables.Use project management tools to track progress and ensure accountability.Skills and Qualifications

Education / Experience
