SUMMARY

The Project Accountant plays a critical role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects. This position is responsible for tracking project costs, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. The Project Accountant works closely with project managers, subcontractors, and the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Project Financial Management :

• Monitor and track project budgets, costs, and forecasts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly job cost reports and variance analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of project billing and ensure timely invoicing to clients.
