Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex commercial disputes, including contract, business tort, and trade secret litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Appear in state and federal courts, supporting and preparing for trials.
- Work directly with clients to craft case strategies and provide legal counseling.
Qualifications
3–6 years of commercial litigation experience.Licensed to practice law in Illinois.Strong experience with motion practice in Illinois federal and state courts.Familiarity with Illinois procedural law and Cook County courts.Demonstrated ability to handle subpoenas and manage large-scale discovery.Skills
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative litigation team.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Compensation
Base pay range : $190,000.00 / yr - $265,000.00 / yr
