The objective of the Digital Marketing Specialist will be to develop and implement the social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing, sales, and recruiting efforts. This position will play a critical role in helping Matthews reach a larger audience and increase engagement. This individual will produce creative content that aligns with the target audience. The digital marketing specialist will also assist with the execution of email marketing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the corporate marketing team in the day-to-day execution of social media marketing initiatives across all social channels - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
Own the execution of the social media strategy scheduling posts, promoting content, and maintaining social media calendar
Create engaging original content (copy and graphics) while maintaining brand consistency and adapting content to suit different channels
Stay up to date on social media best practices & resources to ensure best practices are followed
Respond and engage with audiences across all major social media platforms
Identify relevant trends to tie into brand content
Analyze social media strategies and identify areas of improvement while implementing new approaches to maintain a relevant presence
Identify target audiences and evaluate current trends
Assist in the production and creation of emails including copy and graphics
Assist in maintaining best-in-class email strategies while working with the team to identify, design and launch new testing initiatives to improve performance
Educate agents on the use of social media and promote its use within the company
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree and relevant work experience
Working knowledge of social media best practices
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
Ability to adapt to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
10-20% travel may be required to branch offices and outside events
