Staff Accountant

YUPRO Placement is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our mission-driven team. This role is responsible for completing timely full-cycle accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and cash payment processing, and processing contractor weekly payroll. This role ensures timely weekly and month-end close procedures, supports accurate financial statements and journal entries, and supports vendor and client invoicing questions. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

The Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with HR, Operations and Accounting Department leadership, playing a key role in our successful business operations.

Core Job Responsibilities :

• Accounts Payable : Prepare and execute payments via Bill.com, ensuring timely payments to vendors; reconcile accounts payable transactions; address discrepancies.
• General Accounting : Support weekly and monthly general ledger transactions; support quarterly and annual audits as needed; participate in process improvement initiatives; maintain organized financial records; collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Accounts Receivable : Reconcile invoices to payables and receivables weekly, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness; provide aging reports to department leaders and support collections efforts to ensure client timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Expense Reports : Review, process and book general entities for employee expense reports in accordance with company policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Weekly Contractor Payroll Processing : Timely and accurate processing of time worked, ensuring proper tax allocations and deductions.
